Tick Tick TOCK

Hey People. The clock is ticking big time now. Less than 2 weeks until the show and-- gasp!-- there is no friggin' way I'll get everything done I want to. But I never ever do, and if the deadline was in two months the same exact sitch would develop because I always keep tacking on a bunch of other things i want to try to get done right up until loading time. I have never loaded a show with completely cooled welds yet. Oh wells.

Meanwhile-- Dude Hand pwn'd. As you can see by these pretend hands, dudes just have more meat on their palms and their hands are a little bigger. All better now.

So here she is. I have to say I'm super into her.

Thinking about making some individual oak leaves for an inexpensive take away.
(?)

This weekend was a recovering from double shifts weekend. The cats were like-- "She's in the house and there's no computer on her lap-- swarm!" And Dan was happy to get some attention too. He'd kind of become an occasional murmuring Charlie Brown's teacher's voice in the background. I'd be typing away furiously and suddenly realize-- "Oh, crap-- he's been talking to me." So there was much hang-y out-y time to make up for.

I thought I was over my giant stoner vision from my double shift phase, but going out into the world amid the general population today cured me of that notion. I dropped my bike off at the shop to have them check out my 'puter, didn't leave them the actual puter though, missed turns (not like me), forgot tons of shit I was supposed to bring, do, etc, and seriously-- like four times today I was like, "Oh shit-- this is the exit-- oh well." The last time I just went with it and was like, "I'm going out the in (in that ha ha-ha-ha ha sing song voice), then "right in front of a co-o-op...". (And I'm usually aces on the driving thing, srsly.)

Welding mojo is back I'm happy to report. Maybe some heron pics tomorrow.
I also successfully tracked down a BSG (BikeStoreGuy) from one of the Eric's I hit today who has a bunch of junked gear assemblies he's going to give me tomorrow. I have to go get them at his place so hopefully he's not a bike fixer and psycho killer. You'll just have to stay tuned to see what I do with those goodies. Later.

She's beautiful!

I love the idea of oak leaf take aways... but it also sounds like a new way of adding on more work for yourself! Don't forget to schedule some time for rest!

Rest is for pussies.
(And me, after April 4th)

Jez looks great! I don't know how you do it. When and where is this show? Although, if it's in two weeks, I think I'll be in Oakland, CA at my son's senior art show. It will be interesting to see what he's done.
