The Black Keys Are Coming To The MN State Fair

The Black Keys are one of my favorite bands. Check out the video from their european tour here, set to one of my favorite songs "Have Love Will Travel". Actually, if Simon Cowell wandered into my bathroom while I was in the shower and this were playing, he'd probably sign me. The world will never know however as my singing ability is only engaged while i'm in the shower or car. Cool song though. The clip where Dan Auerbach, the guitarist and singer turns to the camera and smiles got him added to my bullpen of imaginary boyfriends.

Another cool, weird, and funny video they have is "Your Touch". OK -- mainly weird, but I love the part where their ghosts are having coffee at the diner... That part is hilarious.

These guys are from, and determined to stay apparently, in Akron Ohio. It's nice to find such a talented band who also seem fairly normal and cool and down to earth. This is blues-y roots rock-- Just two guys, drums, dirty guitar, and Dan's vocals, wow, it's like he's channeling some old bayou dude.

The embeds weren't cooperating today from youtube so just click the links to see the videos. Check them out in the player, and as always, support the artists you enjoy by buying their music etc.
